When Are Healing Texts Sent?
Monday rolls in, and you’ll find a note of positivity waiting. By Friday, there’s a quiet reminder that, no matter how chaotic the week was, you made it through. You always do.
Life is chaos in motion. One moment, you’re balancing coffee in one hand and emails in the other. The next, you’re staring down deadlines that don’t care if you’re human.
It’s in the mess, in those frantic, fleeting moments, that the right words can slice through the noise. A reminder. A nudge. Something that pulls you back to center and says, You’ve got this.
That’s the heartbeat of Healing Texts. Short, sharp messages delivered with purpose. They show up like clockwork, giving you a second to pause. To breathe. To find your footing before the day decides to go off the rails.
Healing Texts hit your inbox every weekday. Enough to inspire, not enough to overwhelm.
Monday rolls in, and you’ll find a note of hope waiting. By Friday, there’s a quiet reminder that, no matter how chaotic the week was, you made it through. You always do.
And the weekends?
Those are yours. Just space. Time to breathe. To reflect. Or, maybe, to do absolutely nothing at all. Because sometimes, that’s the real win.
“Sometimes a single spark of hope is all you need to reignite your spirit.”
Based on extensive feedback and personal observation, Healing Texts arrive between 11 AM and 7 PM Eastern Time. This window was chosen to intersect with moments when you’re most likely to need an extra boost:
Late Morning (10 AM – 1 PM): The initial hustle of the day has settled, making this the perfect checkpoint to pause, breathe, and realign before afternoon tasks pile up.
Early Afternoon (2 PM – 4 PM): Energy levels can dip or distractions may spike. A timely text here can offer a refreshing break and a gentle nudge to refocus on what truly matters.
Early Evening (5 PM – 8 PM): As you transition from work mode to personal time, stress can peak. A heartfelt message can encourage you to decompress and approach the evening with renewed clarity.
Somewhere between the flurry of tasks and the sigh of relief at day’s end, a well-placed message can be a quiet reminder that says, “Hold on, you’re doing just fine.”
If you’re already subscribed, thank you for being part of this journey. Each message is an example of my genuine desire to stand beside you through life’s ebbs and flows.
If you haven’t yet joined Healing Texts, consider this your personal invite to experience daily bursts of insight and encouragement that can subtly transform your day.

Beyond Healing Texts
Some people want to stay with the messages as they are. Others want a way to carry the work a little further, off the phone and into daily life. If that’s you, there are a few options available.
Books — Wood Island Books gathers the posts that resonated most with readers and puts them into books for people who want to spend more time with the writing.
Journals — Designed for reflection and integration, these journals offer space to write through the thoughts that don’t surface easily, with prompts meant to support honesty rather than performance.
Merchandise — Hoodies, shirts, and journals created as simple reminders to keep going. Practical pieces meant to carry the tone of this work into everyday life.
I also write in two longer form newsletters that explore different sides of this work.
Healing Thoughts — A reflective newsletter focused on steadiness, regulation, and everyday healing, with writing meant to slow things down and name what often goes unnoticed.
Shadow Thoughts — A darker companion newsletter that explores anger, grief, identity, and the parts of healing that don’t fit neatly into optimism.
There’s no expectation to follow everything.
These are simply options, available when you want to take the work off the screen and into your hands, your routines, or your inner life.
